As a child, my parents were very busy and therefore always used a cleaning service such as First Impressions Cleaning. I recall my parents telling me each time the day before our home was to be cleaned, “Chris, you need to pick up your room and bathroom. The house is being cleaned tomorrow”.
Huh?? So, you’re telling me that I have to clean so that they can clean? How does that make any sense? Seeing the look in my father’s eyes, I’m pretty sure he felt the same way, but neither one of us were going to question my mother on this; we just did as we were told :).
Perhaps some of you wonder why we ask you to pick up clutter before we arrive at your home? Essentially, it helps us to be a more effeicient cleaning service. The less items we have to move, the quicker and more thorough we are. In addition, we’re not really sure where you want your things and we would hate for anything to get lost. It all comes down to providing you the best cleaning service in the industry.
As a typical child, I was never a fan of picking up my room, but I do remember how nice it was to come home from school to a sparkling clean room and bathroom. It certainly beat having to clean it myself on Saturday mornings. So, even though it seemed crazy to clean before they cleaned, it was all worth it in the end.
As an almost decade old cleaning company, First Impressions services many accounts for Realtors to assist them with pre-listing cleanings.
Many Realtor clients also hire FIC to clean for their clients just prior to a move-in right after closing.
